At K9 Operations Dog Training, our Basic Obedience Foundation Package is designed to establish control, structure, and clear communication between dog and handler through a disciplined, purpose-driven approach. This program includes a complete starter equipment kit featuring a K9 Operations training vest, customizable morale patches, a standard 6-foot leash, a short traffic lead, a properly fitted prong collar, a doggie go bag, and a basic trauma kit to ensure preparedness both in training and in real-world situations. Over the course of 12 days, dogs are guided through a structured progression that begins with foundational obedience and marker-based communication, transitions into leash control and engagement, and culminates in real-world application with controlled distractions. Core commands such as sit, down, place, heel, and recall are developed with consistency and accountability, while emphasis is placed on handler awareness, patience, and leadership. The end result is a dog that is responsive, manageable, and capable of operating reliably in low to moderate distraction environments while maintaining focus and discipline.

The Advanced Obedience and Control Package builds upon this foundation and is designed for those seeking a higher level of precision, reliability, and real-world performance. This program includes all foundational equipment along with the addition of a professionally conditioned e-collar, an expanded go bag setup, an enhanced trauma kit, and additional morale patches that reflect progression and achievement within the program. Spanning 18 to 21 days, this training is focused on developing off-leash reliability, advanced obedience, and environmental neutrality under pressure. Dogs are systematically conditioned to respond to commands at distance, maintain tight and controlled heel positions, and execute recall and placement commands in high-distraction environments. Training scenarios are intentionally designed to simulate real-life situations, including public exposure, noise, movement, and unpredictable stimuli, ensuring the dog remains composed and responsive regardless of surroundings. This program emphasizes not only obedience, but discipline, consistency, and mental stability, resulting in a dog that operates with confidence, control, and purpose both on and off leash.
